The CZ P-07, although awesome, I realized I'd rather have the p2000. If the P-07 had an optics ready slide, I'd probably be buying it, but the p2000 is just the better DA/SA handgun without an optic. The sig 320 is super nice, but it just feels very wide to me. The sig 365XL was also nice, but the p-10c beats it out on price. Similar size (slightly larger), same capacity to the 19. Better ergonomics (subjective) and an objectively superior trigger. The real value is in the options (RMR cowitness night sights, optics cut, etc.) for a hundred+ less than a stock G19.5. Magazines, however, are harder to come by (online only usually), and more expensive ($20 Glock vs $35

The p10s is almost identical to the p10 c. The grip/magwell is just shorter, only 12 rounds instead of 15. I compared my p10c side by side to the S and It almost looked like I could interchange the slides. I was kind of disappointed because I was hoping that it would be smaller. Aside from the initial quirks that were corrected by CZ I still didn’t trust the overly complicated and delicate striker block design. I think the P10 would’ve been far more successful if CZ would’ve used the much simpler striker designs that a Glock and dozens of others have used reliably.
I can add to this that the P10C trigger is AMAZING. Better than any glock trigger out of the box. But Glock has better aftermarket support, so it depends if you’d rather have a very good gun right out of the box for under $550 (P10C), or a gun that is okay out of the box but offers endless aftermarket products with the potential to make it into an absolutely amazing gun, but will cost double
Smaller overall, .08" wider for double stack, has an optics ready version, and can be had for around $300. Don't get me wrong, I love CZ, I own 5. I also have an M&P shield+, almost identical in size to the P10M but has more rounds and a slide stop/release (if that's important to you), and a very good trigger. Also, nice write up, thanks for I've probably owned about 30 different guns for EDC over the years. Id say either the SIG P320C or CZ P10C are among the best choices for compact. Side note: If you get a P320C, you can also buy a Sub Compact grip module for ~$20. 2 guns in one. I carry my CZ almost daily, alternating between it and my Canik Elite.

Carried a P-10 for about a year and tried out a few guns, including the Glock 19, to replace it. I actually ended up with the M&P9 2.0 4" Compact. I thought the trigger was on par with the CZ, but it was flatter shooting for me. Same size and capacity as the G19 and slightly smaller than the P-10. Might be one to consider if you haven't.
